MILE END EN FÊTE

The 2nd edition of Mile End en fête, presented by SDC Laurier W and the Mile End Business Association (AGAME), will celebrate the warm weather on May 25-26 with a lively itinerary along Saint-Laurent, Parc, Bernard, St-Viateur, Fairmount and Laurier Ouest.

– Meet us at the 2 event HQs: Desjardins HQ, which will come to life at the Laurier Avenue car wash, and PA HQ in the Ubisoft parking lot on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, south of Bernard Street.

– Laurier West street will be closed to traffic between Saint-Laurent and Clark for the official opening of the Caserne 30 firefighters’ museum. Vintage trucks, a fire simulator trailer, BBQ and promotional merchandise featuring the fire station will be on display.

– It’s a way of criss-crossing the district from east to west, from St-Laurent to Du Parc, and from north to south, from Bernard to Laurier Ouest, to discover the program.

– You’ll need to pick up a Discovery Passport at both HQs to find out about all the activities and discounts offered by participating businesses during the festivities, in addition to the official program.

– This is your chance to meet muralist Ankh One, who will be creating the mural “Les portes du temps” on the walls of Lio Fratelli and Optical Center at Laurier O and Saint-Urbain. The project is funded by the City of Montreal’s mural art program.

– It’s the perfect way to transport yourself from a musical performance to the Extravaganz’arts costume shop, from a beer tasting at Dieu du Ciel to a live painting session. Young and old, the weekend will be full of surprises!
