The book trades have been at the heart of Flammarion’s activities since its creation in 1876, and it was in 1998 that the first Québec books appeared under the Flammarion Québec brand. Its editorial vocation is imbued with the Quebec milieu and seeks authors and subjects that address this society, in full autonomy vis-à-vis Flammarion publishers based in Paris.
