AQDM
Founded in 1990 by Paul-Émile Rolland, MD Hygienist, AQDM is a non-profit organization. With the aim of creating an association that meets the needs of its members, Dr. Rolland joined forces with people suffering from macular degeneration, as well as rehabilitation professionals from the Institut Nazareth et Louis-Braille, a visual impairment rehabilitation center, and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Since its foundation in 1990, AQDM's mission has been to promote the autonomy, maintenance and improvement of the quality of life of people with macular degeneration. In 2011, we also added the right to free care.
