BRANDS PARTICIPATING in the collaborative fashion show

Aged 73, his mother was a seamstress. His greatest dream would have been to become a women’s fashion designer, and he even has his own drawing book full of his creations. However, due to his disability, he was unable to realize this dream.

SDC Laurier Ouest teamed up with Le Sillage as part of their L’espoir d’un rêve project to make his dream come true!

Donald Graham

Le Sillage is a community organization located in Quebec City. We offer adapted leisure activities for people with disabilities. Donald has been taking part in our painting classes for several years. This year, we created “L’espoir d’un rêve”, enabling 5 of our participants to realize one of their dreams. Donald was chosen, asking to see a fashion show, have a pair of pants and a shirt, and meet Jean Airoldi. In addition to this request, his residency manager challenged us to see if we could create one of his creations. We found 2 CNDF fashion design graduates who were up for the challenge. They even decided to produce 2 different creations, all free of charge.
